NY Fashion Week continues to thrive
After returning from Fashion Week yesterday, I got into the office and Crain's NY Business called to interview me. I answered a number of questions about trends, etc. and told them I was happy fashion week was alive and well. They asked me if that was strange given the state of the economy. I said, yes perhaps from the outside looking in it must seem extravagant. That said, I am a stylist by trade and I make women look good so that they feel good. Fashion Week fuels the economy and if it helps us feel good through this time, then I don't think that is bad.
"Fashion is the armour to survive the reality of everyday life.
I don't think you could do away with it. It would be like doing away with civilization."
