Maria Grazia Chiuri, co-director of Valentino, is going to be the new designer at Christian Dior. This will break up the feted design duo (Chiuri and Piccoioli) at Valentino which started in 2008 and brought the house billion-dollar status. So it is no surprise that Dior has tapped Chiuri but what is surprising is that she will become the first female director to lead the brand in it's 70 year history.
